My name is Megan.
I’m a traveller, and by profession a freelance writer and content editor.
In 2017 I found an interesting 'escape' from the busyness in my head.
I was in South Asia, and one of the content agencies I worked with commissioned me to produce an article about music therapy. I had no clue what this was about so I started asking friends for ideas.
One friend tipped me to try 'singing bowl' meditation, which happened to be available in the area I was in. I enjoyed the experience and kept coming back.
Each session offered something different, even if the process was always the same.
Along the way, I would learn the esoteric and the technical aspects of combining sounds and using vibration to create harmony in people’s minds and on their bodies.
I am grateful to my Nepali teachers Aju and Kwan for sharing with me their observations and knowledge from years of practice and experience.
Today I use these magnificent metals to send people into a meditative journey, and to introduce a natural way of managing stress.
Just add good vibes. 🌀
